DGP's Message

KTDS Police Training Academy has been in the fore-front in police training for the last 69 years. In 2023, it has been awarded Union Home Minister’s Trophy for the best Training Institution of India in the category of Other Ranks training for the year 2021 – 22. 
This Academy is fully dedicated to providing high quality training to police personnel and officers across the state, equipping them with the knowledge in current laws, skills in various crime investigations and values required to serve and protect our community with great enthusiasm. The Academy strives to foster a culture of professionalism, integrity and respect for human rights.
The Academy aims at grooming such police officers who are not only skilled in their art in various crime investigations but also empathetic to the community and committed to awarding justice to common people in need of protection from injustice. I believe that by investing in our police officers, we are investing to make a safer and more harmonious society.
